EMDR Therapy and Intensives

Focused Healing for Deep Transformation

What is EMDR Intensive Therapy?

EMDR Intensive Therapy offers a focused and accelerated approach to healing. Instead of weekly one-hour sessions, you set aside dedicated time—often over several hours or multiple consecutive days—to do deeper therapeutic work. This concentrated format allows you to move through meaningful processing without long gaps between sessions, helping you gain relief and insight more efficiently.

How does it work?

Before your Intensive begins, we meet for a preparation session to clarify your goals and understand what support, stressors, and challenges are present in your life right now.

During the Intensive, we spend extended time processing distressing experiences and strengthening inner resources. Sessions may include EMDR reprocessing along with supportive techniques—such as guided imagery, creative expression, or grounding practices—to enhance the work and honor your nervous system.

For some, this includes exploring early attachment experiences; for others, it may focus on present-day stress or future goals. Each experience is tailored to your needs and pace.

Afterward, we meet again to reflect on your progress, integrate insights, and create a plan to continue your growth. Many clients choose to share their breakthroughs with trusted supports so they can feel celebrated and supported moving forward.

Why choose an EMDR Intensive?

An Intensive may be a good fit if you:

  • Want deep, focused work that can create meaningful change

  • Are carrying painful memories or experiences that still affect your life

  • Have used EMDR before and want to build on past success

  • Are preparing for a significant transition (ex: marriage, parenthood, medical procedure, new job, move)

  • Feel stuck in weekly therapy and want momentum toward a breakthrough

Our intensives are ideal for:

  • Anyone who desires to go deeper and heal faster

  • Individuals seeking accelerated trauma recovery

  • Those navigating complex life transitions

  • Missionaries, expats, humanitarian workers, and globally mobile adults

  • Individuals processing chronic stress, grief, or attachment wounds

In a warm, steady environment anchored in attuned presence and gentle guidance, we partner with your nervous system to move past stuck points, reclaim agency, and rediscover peace.
